Background

Relations with the US Civilian Research and Development Foundation (CRDF) were initiated in 1995. In 2000 the Agreement of Cooperation between the Government of Moldova and the CRDF was finally concluded and ratified by Moldovan Parliament. And here it is well-mentioned the great input of Academician Gheorghe Duca, President of the Academy of Sciences of Moldova and Charles Tom Owens, Ex-President and Chief Executive Officer of CRDF in the conclusion of this Agreement.
