Participation at scientific events provides scientists with opportunities to explore and discuss latest trends and developments in their scientific areas; network with event delegates, build new connections and forge partnerships; share practices and expertise with others; enhance skills, professional development and personal growth.
Up to now, 9 scientists, including young ones benefited of travel support at various events of international level in Europe and the United States.
Dr. Eleonora Dupouy from the Technical University of Moldova was the only Moldovan delegate at the 13th World Congress of Food Science &Technology held September 2006 in Nantes, France. She was invited with a poster and an oral round table presentation. Contacts were established with four US and seven European scientists. New concepts and developments in fundamental research and industrial application as well as new methods and approaches enriched Dr. Dupouy�s knowledge, which she is going to apply in the teaching process.
