This center actively involved scientists from former Military Complex as well as other organizations, partners of the Technical University as TOPAZ and MEZON so that it could assist them in the transition process from weapons research to civilian work.

Award $312 000 for purchasing of the electronic microscope, atomic mass-spectrometer and equipment for Raman effect study with photon counting system and photo and electroluminiscence study.
